Wood Panel Fabricator

Our client is currently looking for experienced Wood Panel Fabricator (s) of all levels.

Location: Thirsk area
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Rate: £13.00 – £14.50 (depending on experience, negotiable)
Bonus: Monthly profit share scheme
Overtime: Available when required (paid at 1.5x rate)

About the Role:

Our client, a leading furniture manufacturer, is seeking skilled Wood Panel Fabricators to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced candidates to work in a supportive environment with opportunities for skill development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
– Operating machinery including but not limited Edgebanders, hot press, Edge and Orbital Sanders, Mitre saws, Hand routers.
– Producing high-quality hardwood, laminate, and veneer furniture for various markets.
– Following production standards and processes with precision. Training can be provided
– Maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
– Willingness to learn and operate additional machinery as skills develop.

Requirements:
– Previous experience in Laminate and Veneer manufacturing or similar.
– Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
– Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Benefits:
– Competitive hourly rate (£13.00 – £14.50, negotiable based on experience).

– Stable hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 (37.5 hours per week).
