Immediate Opportunity – Storeman / Storeperson Required (Wallsend)
We have an excellent and immediate opportunity for a Storeman / Storeperson to join a well-established organisation in Wallsend, supporting ongoing operations on a potentially long-term contract.Due to project demand, applications are being progressed now.
Shift Pattern
- Weekday Dayshift – Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
Some overtime may be available.
Rates of Pay
- PAYE – Dayshift: £14.50 per hour – First 38 hours worked and approved
- £18.85 per hour – Hours worked in excess of 38
- £21.75 per hour – Saturday hours worked and approved
- £29.00 per hour – Sunday & Bank Holiday hours worked and approved
Duties and Responsibilities – Storeman / Storeperson
- Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the control and storage of goods and materials applicable to the project and wider company activities
- Work in accordance with agreed procedures for the receiving and dispatching of goods and materials
- Ensure all paperwork is received, checked, and recorded in line with the client’s stock control procedures
- Maintain safe, clean, and well‑organised stores areas, ensuring high standards of housekeeping to maximise efficiency and minimise risk
Skills and Experience Required
As a Storeman / Storeperson, you will demonstrate:
- A good level of physical fitness

- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and methodically

You must be able to use a computer and scanning systems (training can be provided).
