We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team in Stockton Heath. The home is a beautiful five bedroomed property set in an idyllic part of Stockton Heath. In this pivotal role, you will not only be responsible for the well-being of our children and young people but also serve as a mentor and role model. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing emotional support and fostering meaningful relationships with the children and young people in our care. You will play a crucial role in establishing clear boundaries and routines, creating a nurturing environment that they can genuinely consider their home.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will take an active interest in each child and young person's individual needs and aspirations. Whether their passions lie in sports, cooking, music, or any other area, you will encourage and facilitate their development, helping them to discover and pursue their interests. Empowering our children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem is fundamental to this role. Your influence will be instrumental in helping them realise their potential and fostering a positive outlook.

You will need:

  • The ability to work with a close-knit team at all times.
  • A strong character and resolve, as this role is demanding and challenging.
  • To work to NVQ Level 4 Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent (if not already done so).
  • Able to work shift patterns and sleep-ins.
  • Some experience working in the Care Sector.
  • A Full UK driving licence.
