Senior Residential Support Worker – Stockton Heath Warrington.

Salary: £36,000 per annum, including 2 sleeps every 6 days.

Profit Sharing Scheme.

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support worker to join our dynamic team in Stockton Heath Warrington. In this pivotal role, you will not only be responsible for the well‑being of our children & young people, but also serve as a mentor & role model for new team members offering them the support & guidance they need to thrive in their positions.

Your primary responsibilities will involve providing emotional support & fostering meaningful relationships with the children & young people in our care. You will play a crucial role in establishing clear boundaries & routines, creating a nurturing environment that they can genuinely consider as their home.

As a Senior Residential support worker, you will take an active interest in each child & young persons individual needs & aspirations.

Whether their passions lie in sports, cooking, music or any other area, you will encourage & facilitate their development helping them to discover & pursue their interests.

Empowering our children & young people to build confidence & self esteem is fundamental to this role. Your influence will be instrumental in helping them realise their potential & fostering a positive outlook.

You will need:

  • An understanding of Childrens Home Regulations & Quality Standards.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted procedures & legislation.
  • Ability to lead a team on shift.

This is a role that requires a strong character & resolve.

You will require:

  • Able to work shift patterns & sleep‑ins.
  • 2 years experience working in a Children & Young Peoples setting.
  • Experience leading a shift.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • 30 days annual leave allowance (including 8 Bank Holidays).
  • £60.00 per sleep‑in allowance.
  • Employee support programmes.

The home is in a beautiful part of Stockton Heath, it is a 5 bed property & will cater for 2 young people & children within an EBD setting.
