About the Role The Distribution Centre Administrator is responsible for the administrative support for the entire Distribution Department. The DC Administrator will be highly organised and detail oriented and will have an excellent level of communication with all stakeholders, including external customers and suppliers. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and along side the team in a fast-paced environment. The DC Administrator would be adaptable in picking up varying tasks throughout the course of the day but still be able to maintain prioritisation of tasks. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: · Running multiple reports for key data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including metrics on pick errors, overtime logging and courier damage for the DC Management Team · Support the Stock Control Team with any queries and investigations · Support the DC Managers with key projects that will drive efficiencies within the department · Maintain packaging levels ensuring that a packaging stock is kept at a good level, PO's are raised on time and maintaining a good relationship with the packaging Account Manager. · Arrange third party same days deliveries, invoices and POD's · Log, track and order uniform for all members of staff and communicate with payroll if any deductions are required · Attend meetings with all departments that support the smooth running of the DC · Support with the inductions of new starters which may include supporting with the Business Induction About You Good knowledge and understanding of Office packages (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) Good interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (Internal / External stakeholders) Able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role/environment Analytical thought process and logical approach to problem solving Please note this job description does not claim to be exhaustive in the duties it defines, and it may to some extent change from time to time.
