Bookkeeper & Invoicing Coordinator
Location: Norfolk, VA (Onsite)
Ironclad Defense Works Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper & Invoicing Coordinator to join our team. This position primarily focuses on managing and maintaining our financial records through bookkeeping functions, while also providing support in contracts and compliance, sub-contracts, travel invoicing, and general invoicing duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial record-keeping, be detail-oriented, and possess a working knowledge of contracts in the defense industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Invoicing: Prepare and submit client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Contracts & Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining compliance documentation and ensuring contracts are in line with relevant regulations.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Track and manage sub-contract agreements, including invoicing and performance monitoring.
- Travel Invoicing: Process and reconcile travel-related expenses and invoices for employees.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping. (strong working knowledge of MS Excel required)
- Strong understanding of contracts and compliance, particularly in the defense industry.
- Experience with invoicing and financial management software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment.
