Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and proactive role to join our Magna Park Rugby Campus team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of our high-density MOVU shuttle-based storage system to ensure peak operational efficiency. You’ll be working a twilight night shift pattern from Monday night through to Friday morning, with the added benefit of daytime availability during the week and long weekends.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

  • Lead the maintenance and optimisation of the MOVU shuttle-based storage system by performing scheduled and condition-based inspections to ensure maximum throughput.
  • Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and technology suppliers to execute technical diagnostics and rapid fault rectification using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
  • Ensure compliance with strict health and safety frameworks, statutory legal requirements, and internal quality standards while maintaining accurate engineering documentation.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting highly automated industrial machinery and high-throughput systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical engineering (ideally 70/30 bias) and technical proficiency with Siemens or similar PLC platforms.
  • Proven ability to diagnose complex faults using a systematic approach while working flexibly across different shifts and at varying heights.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or an equivalent industry-standard qualification.
