We are looking for an experienced and reliable MHE operator to join our Warehousing and Logistics team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, contributing to the high standards our clients expect from Iron Mountain. THIS IS ON A 4 ON 4 OFF BASIS 6PM TO 6AM.
Your Role In Our Mission
- Operating either Bendi, VNA, PPT, or CBT forklifts safely and efficiently to handle and store goods.
- Moving and stacking pallets within narrow aisles to maximise storage capacity.
- Conducting daily checks and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Utilising pick lists to accurately locate and pick items from designated warehouse locations.
- Packing items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks, including stock counts and inventory management.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Valued Skills And Experience
- A valid Bendi, VNA, PPT, or CBT forklift licence and proven experience operating MHE equipment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- A strong understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
