Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Operations Group team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate daily operations. Our operations team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of productivity and inventory accuracy while seamlessly managing inbound and outbound activities in a collaborative working environment. This role is based on 4 on 4 of shifts. We are looking for both Dayshift 6am to 6pm and Nightshift 6pm to 6am.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise, coach, and support warehouse personnel by preparing shift plans, allocating tasks, and overseeing daily warehouse operations to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and transport providers to act as the primary liaison, managing customer escalations and creating handover reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations by conducting daily safety checks, managing weekly system tests for fire alarms, and leading incident investigations.
What You’ll Bring
- Intermediate-level experience with established skills in effectively managing and motivating fast-paced warehouse teams.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control processes, Key Performance Indicators, and health and safety regulations.
- Proven ability in organisational multitasking, problem-solving, and exercising sound judgement under moderate supervision.
- Demonstrated competency and training in using warehouse management systems, planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
