Quote to Cash Administrator
Job Summary:
The Quote to Cash Administrator will participate in designing, implementing, and administering effective billing processes across multiple regions. The successful candidate will have experience working with SaaS billing and CRM systems. This person will review and monitor all transactional processes leading to billable services. This role encompasses a full Quote to Cash system and is diverse in its skill sets. This person will work closely and build successful relationships with leadership and key stakeholders throughout the organization to support and improve quote to cash processes within Salesforce and the Apttus Billing Platform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily administration and support of a global Apttus Billing Platform
- Assisting the Accounting team in aspects relating to various billing and AR functions, not limited to processing customer orders, assist with customer contract renewals, invoicing for services
- Process and review new customer orders, additional suborders, and customer contract renewals
- Participate in ongoing enhancement requests and intake for system improvement
- Collaborate with Salesforce team on training and process documentation
- Analyze Level 1 support Topics for targeted training and user adoption improvements
- Provide billing and customer support to the accounting and finance departments
- Measure and monitor billing and revenue activities to better enable and streamline accounting productivity
- Help to train new and existing users on how to use Apttus Configure Price Quote and Billing
- Keep Accounting and finance users informed about system functionality and enhancements using tools within the system
- Analyze and create business, functional, and technical requirements utilizing an Agile methodology
- Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials for users
Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Strong analytical/problem-solving experience to deal with complex business problems, including risk definition, establishing quality control, and implementation of end-to-end solutions
- Detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and persistent in the face of obstacles or challenges
- Strong background in creation and delivery of internal communications
- A level of competence and flair for utilizing IT systems to deliver effective, practical solutions and for maintaining the integrity of client data at all times
- Outstanding reporting skills including Excel or Sheets – pivots, databases, sorting, and data manipulation
- Familiarity and experience with Finance ERP Systems
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Apttus Quote to Cash
- Ability to interpret contracts, amendments, and orders and translate them to standardized product orders and associated billing streams
- 2+ years of experience as a billing manager and/or handling order entry
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral in English (at a business and technical level) are essential
- Bachelor\’s degree, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines preferred: Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience
