Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Performance & Planning Analyst to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across our warehouse operations by conducting in-depth data analysis and developing essential reporting tools. This role is instrumental in enhancing overall warehouse performance and translating complex data into actionable business insights.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Analyze and Optimize Processes: Conduct detailed time-and-motion studies and analyze operational data from Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other sources to identify inefficiencies and areas for process improvement, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) like pick rates and cycle times.
- Develop Reporting and Automation Tools: Design, maintain, and enhance data dashboards, reports, and KPI trackers, primarily using Google Sheets, and develop lightweight tools or automation scripts using Google Apps Script, Java, and HTML to streamline workflows.
- Present Actionable Insights: Lead meetings with operations managers and cross‑functional teams to present analytical findings and provide data‑backed recommendations for continuous improvement projects.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
- Relevant professional experience in a logistics, operations, or supply chain analytics environment.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualization techniques. Experience with or administration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for decision‑making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to lead team meetings and presentations.
