Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of daily shift operations in a cost-effective, safe, and productive manner. You will oversee team performance, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure that customer expectations and budgetary service levels are consistently achieved.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Lead and manage daily warehouse shift operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
- Drive team performance and resource optimization by coaching team members, managing schedules, and monitoring KPIs to improve operational efficiency and control costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and security standards through regular workspace inspections, equipment maintenance tracking, and adherence to company protocols.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
- Proven experience managing a team within a fast-paced warehouse or logistics distribution environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and standard warehouse health, safety, and security regulations.
- Demonstrated ability in leadership and problem-solving, with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills to maintain high on-site employee engagement.
- Ability to multi-task and respond to situations quickly.
