Job Summary

To maintain accurate stock levels and ensure high-quality inventory control within the warehouse. This role involves operating VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) to manage stock movements and storage efficiently. The Stock Controller also supports warehouse performance by investigating system discrepancies, analysing data from Dexory robot dashboards, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive stock control support to the warehouse operations team.
  • Create, maintain, and edit documentation including paperwork, spreadsheets, and managing occupancy levels using inventory management systems.
  • Review and analyse data from Dexory robot dashboards to monitor stock positions and movement trends.
  • Report damaged or non-conforming stock and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Support stock control improvement initiatives by assisting with warehouse projects such as space optimisation, layout changes, and audits.
  • Manage visitor, supplier, and contractor access.
  • Forecast stock requirements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Track shipments and address delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update facility calendars and inform managers of activities.
  • Maintain Health.
