Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Library & Archival Services Pre-Sales Specialist to join our Media and Archival Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between specialized archival needs and Iron Mountain’s technical solutions, acting as a subject matter expert to design custom digitization and collection management strategies that drive new business growth. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for a professional who thrives on innovation and building deep relationships within the library and archival community.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design of tailored archival and digitization solutions by working closely with customers to understand their unique collections and delivering strategic recommendations that provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with sales professionals and project teams to manage the sales pipeline, respond to complex RFPs, and ensure that proposed solutions are delivered successfully and meet revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with global preservation standards and internal policies while representing the organization at industry conferences to create and advance new business opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrable experience in a library, archives, or special collections environment, with a strong background in academic research institutions.
- Strong knowledge of digitization workflows, collection management systems, and the technical standards required to create high-quality digital surrogates.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and complex problem-solving, with the flexibility to travel up to 50% to engage with various constituencies.
