The Fine Art Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the handling, packing, and storage of fine art pieces within Crozier Fine Arts' Hayes, Middlesex facility. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a thorough understanding of art handling best practices, and a commitment to maintaining the safety and integrity of all artworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Preparing & Packing artworks for storage or transportation.
- Organizing storage spaces as part of a team to ensure optimum efficiencies.
- Assisting with moving a variety of cases in and around a warehouse and unloading vehicles when required.
- Ensure checks are carried out on all goods received into the warehouse and recorded on the appropriate systems.
- Ensure Warehouse cleanliness is maintained.
- Be vigilant with security procedures and immediately report any areas of concern.
- Ensure health and safety measures are observed at all times, including proper use of machinery, and PPE.
- Ensure photographic evidence is provided for any damages or faults.
- Install artworks in viewing rooms and assist with viewings.
- Condition reporting of artworks.
- Handling of fragile high value goods.
- Familiarity with Aviation Security Procedures and Practices (Training will be provided).
- Fork lift truck license advantageous.
- Experience within the art industry, advantageous.
- Experience in art installations, advantageous.
- Experience in condition reporting of artworks, advantageous.
