Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Library & Archival Services Pre-Sales Specialist to join our Media and Archival Services team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between specialized archival needs and Iron Mountain's technical solutions, acting as a subject matter expert to design custom digitization and collection management strategies that drive new business growth. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for a professional who thrives on innovation and building deep relationships within the library and archival community.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of tailored archival and digitization solutions by working closely with customers to understand their unique collections and delivering strategic recommendations that provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with sales professionals and project teams to manage the sales pipeline, respond to complex RFPs, and ensure that proposed solutions are delivered successfully and meet revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with global preservation standards and internal policies while representing the organization at industry conferences to create and advance new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in a library, archives, or special collections environment, with a strong background in academic research institutions.
- Strong knowledge of digitization workflows, collection management systems, and the technical standards required to create high-quality digital surrogates.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and complex problem-solving, with the flexibility to travel up to 50% to engage with various constituencies.
- Master's Degree in Library Science (MLIS) or an industry-standard equivalent.
