Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join our Central Government team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new organic growth and end-to-end ownership of revenue and margin expansion within the public sector. You will act as a strategic hunter, identifying new opportunities and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative records management and digital transformation solutions to government departments.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the strategic sales process by researching prospects, generating new leads, and setting ambitious goals to win new Central Government business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build and maintain a robust CRM database and manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle for complex public sector pursuits.
- Ensure compliance with government standards by delivering proposals and quotes that adhere to organizational policies and regulatory frameworks.
What You’ll Bring
- Commercial experience in a new business/hunter role managing large, complex customer relationships within the public sector.
- Deep expertise in Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Frameworks and a proven track record of winning business through G-Cloud, DOS, or similar government procurement vehicles.
- Proven ability in C-level stakeholder management, specifically within senior Civil Service grades, to design and deliver solutions that meet departmental priorities.
