Iron Mountain is seeking a multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for our Magna Park Rugby Campus team to maintain the high‑density MOVU shuttle‑based storage system.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

  • Lead the maintenance and optimisation of the MOVU shuttle‑based storage system by performing scheduled and condition‑based inspections to ensure maximum throughput.
  • Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and technology suppliers to execute technical diagnostics and rapid fault rectification using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
  • Ensure compliance with strict health and safety frameworks, statutory legal requirements, and internal quality standards while maintaining accurate engineering documentation.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting highly automated industrial machinery and high‑throughput systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical engineering (ideally 70/30 bias) and technical proficiency with Siemens or similar Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) platforms.
  • Proven ability to diagnose complex faults using a systematic approach while working flexibly across different shifts and at varying heights.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or an equivalent industry‑standard qualification.
