General Information
Whilst you will be fully trained to deliver our innovative Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) training sessions, the primary focus of this role is driving membership growth.
You will be responsible for converting enquiries into members, conducting engaging consultations and free trial sessions, building lasting client relationships and delivering an exceptional member experience that leads to high retention and referrals.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in sales, customer service, hospitality or the fitness industry who enjoys working with people and is motivated by achieving results.
The Role
As an EMS Coach & Membership Consultant you will play a vital role in the continued success of the studio.
You will be responsible for generating new memberships, delivering outstanding semi-personal EMS coaching sessions and ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience from their first enquiry through to becoming a long-term member.
You will be expected to take ownership of the entire customer journey—from responding to new enquiries and conducting consultations, to delivering motivating EMS sessions and supporting members in achieving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Membership Growth (Primary Focus)
- Proactively follow up all new enquiries generated through marketing campaigns, referrals and walk-ins.
- Contact prospective members by telephone, email, Whats App and other communication channels.
- Conduct engaging consultations and free EMS trial sessions.
- Confidently explain the benefits of EMS training and recommend suitable membership packages.
- Convert enquiries and trial sessions into paying members.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and studio sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships that maximise member retention, referrals and lifetime value.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions using the studio CRM system. Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and promotions.
- EMS Coaching & Member Experience.
- Deliver safe, effective and motivating semi-personal EMS training sessions.
- Provide outstanding coaching and encouragement throughout every session.
- Adapt sessions to suit each member's goals, fitness level and any physical limitations.
- Monitor member progress and celebrate achievements.
- Create an enjoyable, welcoming and supportive atmosphere within the studio.
- Ensure all EMS equipment is prepared, maintained and used safely.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the studio.
- Customer Service Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the member journey.
- Build rapport quickly with prospective and existing members.
- Resolve member queries professionally and efficiently.
- Become an ambassador for the Iron Bodyfit brand and its values.
