Who are iRock?
iRock School of Music is on a mission to transform children's lives through music.
We deliver exciting rock and pop band sessions in primary schools across the UK, helping children develop confidence, creativity, teamwork and a lifelong love of music.
Since starting in a garden shed in 2016, we've grown into an award-winning organisation working with hundreds of schools and thousands of children.
And we're continuing to grow. That's where you come in!
Great attitude? Confident talking to people? We'll teach you the rest.
You don't need years of sales experience to succeed at iRock. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, hardworking and confident who enjoys talking to people and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.
You might already work in sales. You might come from retail, hospitality, recruitment, customer service, fundraising or another people-focused role. You might even be looking for your first real opportunity to build a career in sales.
For us, attitude matters more than your CV.
If you're positive, resilient, willing to learn and motivated by achieving results, we'll give you the training and support you need to succeed.
What will you actually be doing?
You'll be part of our friendly sales team, helping us introduce iRock to more primary schools across the UK.
A big part of your day will involve speaking to schools on the phone, building relationships and creating opportunities for our team to demonstrate what iRock can offer their pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Speak with headteachers, school business managers and other school leaders.
- Make outbound calls to introduce schools to iRock.
- Build genuine rapport and have great conversations.
- Generate leads and book appointments for school assemblies.
- Follow up with schools and nurture potential opportunities.
- Keep accurate records of your conversations and activity on our CRM.
- Work towards achievable individual and team targets.
- Occasionally represent iRock at education events and conferences.
- Celebrate the schools you help bring to iRock and the children who ultimately get to experience our programmes.
We'll teach you our systems, our sales process and everything you need to know about selling into schools.
We're more interested in who you are.
We're not looking for the perfect CV.
About You

Previous sales experience would be useful, but it isn't essential. Experience within education is also welcome, but you don't need it – we'll teach you what you need to know.
What can you earn?
Basic salary: £24,000–£26,000 per year
Your starting salary will depend on your experience. On top of your basic salary, you'll receive uncapped commission, with expected total earnings of approximately £34,000 OTE.
