We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a busy Client Services team supporting the delivery of Direct Mail and transactional print campaigns.
As part of the frontline client team, you will act as the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring all requirements are delivered efficiently, on time and to the highest quality standards. You will develop a strong understanding of your clients’ businesses, their industry drivers and become a trusted partner in supporting their marketing and communications activities. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has the ability to manage multiple production workflows while identifying opportunities to add commercial value.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver a value-added service.
- Deliver against client KPIs, SLAs and contractual targets.
- Build effective day-to-day client relationships, ensuring clear, timely and meaningful communication.
- Manage end-to-end production workflows, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
- Ensure quality procedures are followed throughout the full production cycle.
- Support preparation for client contract review meetings and identify opportunities for account development.
- Ensure all procurement activity aligns with commercial strategy and company guidelines.
- Deliver business and account objectives through adherence to established processes and systems.
- Proven ability to deliver against targets and service level agreements in a results-driven environment.
- Experience managing client briefs and change requests, both face-to-face and via email, from concept through to production.
- Knowledge of data, transactional and direct mail production processes.
- Understanding of DSA and Retail Postal Services.
- Strong understanding of data management and data processing principles.
- Experience working within transactional or direct mail print environments.
- Aware of data privacy regulations and relevant legislation.
- Understanding of financial promotion regulations and FCA standards is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proven influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong project management experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience managing multi-element campaigns.
