This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles & trailers to a high standard.Working on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations.Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs & trailers
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Conducting MOT preparation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work (service & repair) completed and in line with DVSA
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HGV/Trailer Technician, Mechanic, or Fitter.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Licence desirable but not essential).
