We are recruiting an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead the safety, compliance and efficient operation of a biomass fuel and waste wood processing facility in the North West. You will take full responsibility for site performance, overseeing health and safety, environmental compliance, production, stock control, fuel quality, maintenance coordination and operational costs. You will lead the on-site team, drive continuous improvement and manage relationships with key customers and fuel offtake partners.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Senior operational leadership experience within biomass, waste wood, recycling or a regulated processing environment (Not a requirement)
  • Strong health, safety and environmental compliance knowledge
  • Experience managing production targets, budgets and site KPIs
  • Excellent people leadership and stakeholder-management skills
  • WAMITAB Level 4 or relevant CoTC qualification would be highly advantageous
