We’re looking for an experienced Shotfirer to play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality blasting operations for our customers. What you’ll be doing Carrying out shotfiring duties in line with company standards, regulations, and blast specifications Supporting the delivery of accurate blast designs alongside the Explosives Supervisor Loading, firing, and monitoring blasts, ensuring safety and environmental compliance at all times Being the first point of contact for customers on site, handling queries and maintaining strong working relationships Contributing to risk assessments, safety briefings, and continuous improvements in blasting efficiency What we’re looking for Full UK driving licence (essential) Experience as a Shotfirer in a quarrying environment Ability to work independently or as part of a team NVQ in Shotfiring and explosives handling (or equivalent training/experience) Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practice Additional training in blast design software, explosive products, or drone surveying would be advantageous but not essential.
