We are currently looking for a Disaster Recovery profile with around 3 years of experience to collaborate on a project with a multinational company in the energy sector, working on-site in Glasgow.
What do we expect from you?
- Technical School Degree (medium) or Technical degree (medium)
- At least 3 years of experience in technical areas, platforms, tools and language of their technological perimeter
- Experience with the Disaster Recovery Menus tool (adhoc solution over Smit)
- Experience with OS solutions (ZOS) – GDPS 3.9: metro global mirror functions to manage recovery tasks
- Experience with OS solutions (ZOS) – GDPS 3.10: recurring copy and stop tasks
- Experience with OS solutions (ZOS) – GDPS 3.11: DR testing under zOS technology
- Experience with NetView: mainframe recovery tasks automation
- Experience with OS solutions (UNIX – AIX): recurring copy and stop tasks
- Experience with Virtualization: recurring tasks of executing snapshots; basic knowledge of management of virtualized services; basic knowledge of SVC as a virtualization solution; basic knowledge of NUTANIX as a virtualization solution
- Experience with Cloud solutions: basic knowledge of cloud recovery services
- Experience with Storage Solutions (NetApp): recurring tasks of executing snapshots of NAS resources

- The Disaster Recovery Service is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Business Continuity Plan procedures and documentation
