We're looking for a Yard Operative to join our busy Bangor team. This is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone with experience in the trades, construction, or building materials sector who enjoys working in a fast-paced, practical environment. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the branch-supporting daily operations and working closely with both colleagues and customers from the trade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking, preparing, and organising orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving trade and retail customers, offering a knowledgeable and professional service
- Loading and unloading materials safely onto customer and company vehicles
- Supporting the wider yard team to keep operations running smoothly
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the yard
- Following Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
