NIFRS are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to apply for the post of Watch Commander Specialist Rescue Team. Specialist Rescue Team Watch Commanders perform a vital role within NIFRS, leading others to deliver excellent performance and supporting Middle Management to deliver against a demanding change agenda. Successful candidates will role model the values of the Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring a fair and ethical approach to service delivery and ensuring the effective implementation of organisational policy and procedures. In addition they provide specialist advice to assist Middle Managers in the service delivery of Flood Rescue, Urban Search and Rescue and Rope Rescue. A reserve list will be created for 12 months should any additional vacancies arise after the initial intake this may also include secondments.
