Waste Labourer Sullotber Depot, Carrickfergus We are recruiting for a Waste Labourer to join the team based in Sullotber Depot, Carrickfergus on behalf of Mid & East Antrim Borough Council. The role will be a temporary position. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB Provide general driving support to Operational Services to ensure that all refuse is removed from household, industrial and commercial premises such as houses, shops, schools, business premises for appropriate disposal by working as part of a small team. Responsible for any vehicle, equipment, passengers etc. allocated for the purpose of waste collection, cleansing, recycling or other appropriate services. (Full job specification available upon request) Hours of Work: 37 hours per week – Mon – Fri Essential Criteria: Applicants must have: One years\’ experience in general labouring in an outdoors environment Have an awareness of Health and Safety and COSHH Legislation Desirable Criteria: Applicants must have: Valid Category B Driving Licence. Any penalty points active on the driving licence must be declared along with the relevant code. These will then be assessed for relevance of the duties of the post.
