Position: Warehouse and Operations Manager – Relocation to Dublin Location: Dublin Duration: Permanent Hours of work: Monday – Friday 09:00-17:50 Pay Rate: £55,000 depending on experience + Bonus and Travel Allowance Our client has been a market leader in Ireland since 2006, specialising in natural stone and premium ceramic and porcelain tiles. They are a key supplier to retail tile stores and major commercial construction projects across the country. Headquartered in north Dublin, the company operates from a 40,000 sqft warehouse that holds over 3,000 pallets and more than 500 active SKUs. Our client is seeking a Warehouse and Operations Manager to join their team as a senior member of the Leadership team This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional who brings extensive industry knowledge and the ability to take full ownership of day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving improvements across key areas of the logistics function, with a focus on delivering strategic change and enhancing overall efficiency. Duties will include: Demonstrated experience in warehouse and operations management Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in team development and performance management In-depth knowledge of inventory control, supply chain processes, and logistics best practices Ability to identify, develop, and implement effective process improvements Excellent communication skills with a strategic, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving Proficient in warehouse and enterprise resource planning systems (WMS/ERP), with advanced Excel skills A bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is advantageous Professional certifications in supply chain or logistics management are desirable Comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and within a strategic office-based environment Demonstrated success in leading change initiatives and delivering measurable cost reductions Essential Criteria: Over 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management Solid track record in team leadership, budget management, and operational efficiency improvements Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance standards Highly proactive with exceptional planning, problem-solving, and communication abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills Desirable Criteria: Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus Ashton Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency.
