We do that by helping each other deliver consistently outstanding work. Whats the opportunity for a UX Designer at Gearset? Join our growing and experienced UX team, laser-focused on delighting our users Youll own & drive the full design process from discovery through to delivery: turning research insights into ideas, designing the workflows and UI for features, getting them shipped in product releases and monitoring their success Partner with product managers to research and understand the jobs to be done for our customers & lead user research to discover friction and unmet needs Work closely with engineering teams to ship projects that help address customer needs and add value to the Gearset platform This role comes with plenty of opportunity to lead the research and design for core workflows on the Gearset platform What youll achieve Working with customers to understand their needs; youll plan & conduct generative product research to help discover needs and uncover points of friction Iterating on ideas, with peers, to solve those needs; youll share & seek feedback on work with other designers, product managers and engineers Prototyping solutions to validate their value with users; youll organise & lead evaluative research with engineering teams, focusing on target users Collaborating with teams to get the right solution shipped on our platform; youll work with engineers to get features into the hands of our customers Advocate and initiate new research, design and engineering work to improve shipped projects and to shape new projects Support your peers in the UX team; pairing and reviewing work, actively providing feedback and helping the team mature and grow About you You are enthusiastic about working with customers to build and deliver the right solution that empowers them and adds value to the Gearset platform You can effectively create and communicate ideas for research and design work Love designing simple, intuitive and delightful solutions to customer problems Are pragmatic when it comes to design choices and make objective design decisions, always advocating for the best possible user experience Have experience shipping products and working in a continuous development environment Great to haves Experience working on technical applications or developer tools Have experience of working with hosted (SaaS) products Salary, benefits and hours Salary is £45,000 - £85,000 per annum depending on experience This is a full time opportunity, working Monday to Friday with the option of flexible home working (for most of us that looks like 2-3 days a month in the Belfast office) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Personal L&D budget of up to £1500 per year Company Pension Plan (matching up to 5%) Bupa health care Life Insurance & Critical Illness cover Flexible working hours Free lunch in the office Health and wellness benefits Opportunity to join our Long Term Incentive scheme £45,000 - £85,000 a year If you think you\'ve something special to offer, or if you\'ve great experience but don\'t match every requirement, we\'d still love to talk with you and learn more.
