About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Drop Delivery Driver (Cat C Licence) to join a well-established food distribution operation based in Strabane. This role involves delivering high-quality food products to a range of customers across Northern Ireland, ensuring each delivery is completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers throughout Northern Ireland.
  • Deliver orders accurately and on schedule while providing excellent customer service.
  • Resolve customer queries where possible in a professional manner.
  • Check and complete all invoices and delivery documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Carry out daily vehicle and load checks in line with company procedures.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Work efficiently, proactively, and safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Report any damages, accidents, or food safety concerns.
  • Ensure all products are delivered in saleable condition.
  • Handle cash and cheque collections against invoices as required.
  • Perform any additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Full Category C / Class 2 driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC card and digital tachograph card.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Proactive approach with good problem-solving ability.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Minimum of 1 year's previous multi-drop delivery experience.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
  • Experience working with temperature-controlled products (training will be provided).
