Senior Support Workers Positive Futures Charity Jobs NI (part of the Happy Jobs group) is delighted to be exclusively partnering with Positive Futures to support the recruitment of multiple dedicated, compassionate, and supportive Senior Support Workers in the Mid-Ulster (Cookstown & Magherafelt) area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to positively impact lives every day. About Positive Futures: Positive Futures transforms lives daily by supporting people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and autism. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve their dreams and live fulfilling, independent lives through tailored, person-centred support. About the Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and guiding both your team and the individuals we support. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, promoting independence and facilitating community involvement. Key Responsibilities: Person-Centred Support: Develop supportive relationships, provide tailored care, and coordinate reviews and personal plans. Health & Safety: Ensure the wellbeing of individuals, manage personal care respectfully, and report safeguarding concerns promptly. Social & Communication: Promote independent decision-making, community engagement, and maintain vital social connections. Skill Development: Assist individuals in domestic tasks, financial management, and accessing essential services. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: At least 6 months paid experience in health and social care or community support roles. Desirable: Experience using person-centred support plans; QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to obtain).
