About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Robot Welder/Programmer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in our manufacturing operations by programming, setting up, and maintaining robotic welding systems, as well as performing manual welding when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program welding robots for efficient production operations
- Set up robotic systems for specific welding jobs
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic welding equipment
- Implement robotic welding solutions for new and existing production lines
- Perform MIG and TIG hand welding as required
- Fabricate metal products from steel, aluminium, stainless steel, and brass
- Follow engineering drawings and specification documents to ensure welding accuracy
- Operate robotic welder machines safely and effectively
- Assist in plant floor integration, start-up, and debugging of welding equipment
- Set up fixtures and position components using clamps, bolts, and tack welds for precise welding
- Weld aluminium concrete forms accurately to print
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience programming and operating robotic welding systems
- Strong manual welding skills, particularly in MIG and TIG
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
- Experience with aluminium, stainless steel, and standard steel welding
- Practical knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience with Olympus Cobots is not required; training will be provided
