VANRATH is partnering with a world-leading apparel manufacturer to recruit an experienced Regional Procurement Manager for their production facility in Derry. This is a pivotal position, responsible for enhancing procurement strategies across the European region and driving continuous improvements in supply chain performance. Highlights of the Role Leadership Scope: Oversee and develop a high-performing European procurement team, managing strategies across multiple production plants and regional offices. Strategic Impact: Shape supply chain performance through contract negotiation, process optimisation, and cost-reduction initiatives. Global Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional and international teams to maintain efficiency and deliver business objectives. Main Responsibilities Lead the European procurement function, setting and implementing strategies across various manufacturing sites and offices. Negotiate supplier contracts in line with corporate guidelines, engaging relevant teams in legal, treasury, and risk as required. Reduce supply chain vulnerabilities by diversifying sources and streamlining processes. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while tracking performance against agreed KPIs. Collaborate with internal departments-including operations, technical, logistics, business, finance, and trade-to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency gains. Produce regular reports on procurement activity, savings, and performance, ensuring compliance with internal controls and legal requirements. Champion continuous improvement in procurement practices and promote adoption of best-in-class systems and processes. Essential Criteria Degree in business administration, finance, procurement, supply chain management, or similar discipline. Minimum of 5 years\’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, including leadership/team management. Demonstrated success in procuring both direct materials (raw materials, packaging, energy) and indirect goods/services (MRO, supplies). Knowledge of ERP systems with a focus on procurement functions and an understanding of end-to-end requisition-to-pay processes. Strong organisational, analytical, and negotiation abilities with proven cross-functional collaboration. Understanding of international trade requirements and ability to negotiate complex terms. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Desirable Experience with SAP P2P and/or SAP Ariba in multinational or multi-site environments. CIPS certification in procurement and supply. Competence with BI or Power BI tools for data interpretation.
