We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their growing team in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering a range of fit out, refurbishment, and interior construction projects, with current schemes based across County Down and the Causeway Coast, alongside potential involvement in additional sites throughout NI.
The Role:
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception through to completion and defects period
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and programme delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines and budgets
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting
- Manage variations, costs, and risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements
- Maintain high standards of quality across all fit out and finishing works
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Experience delivering fit out, interiors, or refurbishment projects
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- Good commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
- SMSTS / CSCS certification (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
