Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm in the Derry/Londonderry area on the appointment of a Production Planner This newly created role has come about due to growth. If you work with a continuous improvement mindset, are highly organised and detail oriented with a strong background in Production Planning, this could be the perfect move for you. Coordinate with various departments (purchasing, warehousing, production) to ensure resources are available Ensure raw materials and components are available to meet production needs Frequently liaise with procurement to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking Analyse production capacity and adjust plans to match demand Identify bottlenecks and work with teams to resolve constraints Track progress of production against the plan. Update schedules as needed due to machine breakdowns, material delays, or urgent orders Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on output, efficiency, and downtime Participate in initiatives to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity Provide feedback to improve planning processes and accuracy Act as the link between production, procurement, sales, and logistics.
