Production Operative (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week) Location: Moira Reporting to: Department Manager Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:30 Purpose of the Role Reed Recruitment are delighted to be working with an established Food company in Co Armagh. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our client\’s team. This role involves operating machinery and performing tasks related to the blending and production of Vermicelli, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate production machinery efficiently and safely. Consistency Follow all quality and food safety procedures, including GMPs, cleaning schedules, and CCPs. Conduct basic testing and quality checks during production. Accurately complete company records and forms. Report defective materials or food safety concerns to the Production Supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and equipment. Perform operator testing requirements including calibration, startup checks, and CCP checks. Report equipment faults to maintenance staff. Provide cover in the absence of the Production Supervisor. Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety policies. Use PPE correctly and participate in risk assessments. Support continuous improvement initiatives in workplace safety.
