VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a Manufacturing & Engineering company with the recruitment of a Production Manager. This will be based in the Company's site in Garvagh / Coleraine - Monday - Friday (8.00am - 4.00pm) - Permanent Role.

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 + Fantastic Benefits Package - Yearly Salary Reviews - Progression Opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • A Production Manager to oversee and coordinate all activities related to production, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Scheduling: Developing production schedules, managing resources, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Process Management: Overseeing and controlling the entire production process, from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Quality Control: Implementing and enforcing quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Supervising and motivating production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance production processes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

The Ideal Person:

  • Proven experience in a production management role or similar position within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
