Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are looking for anAccountingTechnician/Part-Qualified Accountantto join our growing team. The Role We have an exciting opportunity for anAccountingTechnician/Part-Qualified Accountantto join our Accounts team and support our managers in delivering high-quality client service. You will be comfortable managing your own workload, proactive in problem-solving, and confident collaborating with clients, managers, and partners to help businesses succeed. Youll also be encouraged to contribute ideas for improving our services. Key Responsibilities: Maintainingaccurateand up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Preparing andsubmittingVAT returns on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for clients. Assistingwith tax compliance, including preparing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and liaising with tax authorities asrequired. Demonstrating familiarity with VAT, corporation tax, and payroll fundamentals to support client compliance and reporting needs. Communicating with clients on a regular basis to provide updates on their financial status and answer any questions they may have. Providing clients with an excellent level of service and ensuring all work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company and industry regulations. Essential Criteria: Must be aqualifiedAccounting Technicianor Part Qualified Accountant A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role Experience working within a practice environment on the preparation of both financial accounts & taxation. The ability to multi-task and work within a varied client portfolio Working knowledge of Xeroand other cloud-based accounting software Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach Benefits We are committed to market leading packages.
