We're looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Welcome Manager to lead our small but vital Welcome Team at Florence Court as part of the Fermanagh property group. You will be based at Florence Court, and your primary focus will be to inspire, support and develop the Welcome Team, ensuring every visitor receives a warm and memorable experience. You'll also support at Castle Coole & Crom, helping to deliver a consistently excellent welcome across multiple sites. As the role spans across different properties, regular travel between sites is required, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
Salary: £13,806 per annum (pro-rated based on £27,612 full-time equivalent)
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Pattern: You will work 18.75 hours per week, including Duty Manager responsibilities (primarily at Florence Court), which will include regular weekend and Bank Holiday working as part of a duty management rota.

What you'll be doing: You'll lead and manage our team of Welcome and Service Assistants, as well as our volunteers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the all-important welcome area. You'll inspire, support and develop your team, encouraging them to deliver the highest standards of customer service while helping to grow our charitable income. You and your team will be focused on ensuring every visitor enjoys the best possible experience, whatever it takes. Using sound judgement and effective decision-making, you'll lead from the front, working in line with National Trust policies, values and guidelines. You'll also regularly act as Duty Manager for the site, taking responsibility for areas such as safeguarding, cash handling and tills, fire safety, security, and emergency evacuations. As the main point of contact for staff, volunteers and visitors, you'll respond confidently to emergencies, enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are handled professionally and effectively.
