Position: NPI Fitter
Location: Omagh
Reporting to: Lead Engineer
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated NPI Fitter to contribute to our Test & Development team. Reporting to the Lead Test and Development Engineer, the NPI fitter will be involved in a wide range of activities in relation to the prototype machines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Machine setup
- Completion of test plan items
- Initial mechanical and hydraulic testing
- Machine clean down in preparation for re-work
- Machine strip/re-work/re-build including mechanical, electric and hydraulic components
- Work with Test and Development Engineers and Design Engineers to develop and refine the prototype machines
- Report back/highlight any issues found while completing re-work or design improvements
- Replace/repair any worn or damaged parts including wear liners to leave machines in good working order
- Ensure compliance to all general site rules, regulations, policies & procedures
- Maintain compliance to all health and safety regulations
