Your new company is a growing FMCG company, a multi-site organisation demonstrating great ambition, investment and growth, supplying the UK and Ireland with a range of impressive and innovative food products. They have a new purpose-built site soon to be finished, delivering incredible capacity to produce for some of the largest retailers to a very high standard.
This is an opportunity to lead a team, retain some hands-on capacity, and deliver ongoing improvement through investment in what is already an impressive site.
Your new role: Working days Monday to Friday, but with a need to occasionally be available for advice for the team outside of hours. You will manage the delegation of duties to the team, prioritise breakdowns, advise the team on solutions, manage contractors, plan projects, and report to the engineering manager on ideas for continuous improvement for the department.
What you'll need to succeed: Strong ability to prioritise maintenance workload and communicate it clearly to the team, be prepared to be hands-on during busy periods, and possess a level of multi-skilled knowledge. If you are a strong engineer or supervisor looking for a potential step up, this may also be a good career move.
