About Your New Job as Company Accountant As Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the full accounting function of the largest division within the group, reporting directly to the CFO. You will prepare and interpret monthly management accounts, VAT returns, annual activities, and monthly management reports, including key KPIs. Manage sales & purchase ledgers, multi-currency bank reconciliations, credit control, and stock management. Drive the implementation of financial controls and best business practices, as well as budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and FX operations. Supervise junior team members and ensure reporting deadlines are met. What Skills You Need as Company Accountant Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in practice or industry. Strong proficiency in Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel. Experience in accounting within a multi-currency environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines with limited supervision. Flexible, quick to learn, and able to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business landscape.
