We are actively recruiting for multiple experienced Healthcare Assistants/Support Workers for flexible Agency shifts in private nursing homes and supported living schemes in the Omagh and surrounding areas. Unfortunately, we do not offer sponsorship, and due to regulatory requirements set by the RQIA, applicants must be able to provide two satisfactory UK-based references and obtain an Enhanced AccessNI check. We are unable to progress applications from individuals who have not worked in the UK or Northern Ireland long enough to meet these requirements.

Would you like to be part of a fun and dynamic team where you can choose when you do and do not work? Staff Nursing could be the perfect fit for you! With plenty of shifts to choose from, you can decide where and when you work.

The main responsibility of the Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker role is to provide safe and effective care to service users throughout all aspects of their care needs; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Personal care, hygiene and toileting
  • Mobility
  • Assistance with feeding and nutritional support
  • 1-1 supervision
  • Monitoring and recording
  • Promoting independence
  • Assisting individuals to live fulfilled lives despite varying degrees of incapacity and/or disability

We offer a flexible approach to shifts with a user-friendly App where you can update availability, apply directly for shifts, submit timesheets in real time, refer a friend, upload documents, and request holiday fund pay-outs.

Benefits:

  • FREE training and upskilling
  • Bonus payments for unsociable hours
  • Holiday payments are accrued for every hour worked which can be withdrawn from as required
  • Free uniform
  • A member PERKS program
  • Inclusion in our wellbeing program
  • Refer a friend bonus scheme
  • Many other benefits

All applicants will be required to provide evidence of right to work, NISCC registration, be willing to make an enhanced AccessNI disclosure, and provide 2 UK based references, one of which must be from the most recent employer. We are particularly looking for applicants with a minimum of 6 months experience in a caring role. Experience working in a learning disabilities environment is desirable but not essential. Staff Nursing is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified persons.
