Vickerstock are partnering with our FMCG client - renowned for their commitment to authenticity and excellence on the appointment of Stores Administrator to join the team based in Newtownards. Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Stores Team in all administrative tasks, ensuring department deadlines are met in a timely manner, whilst contributing to departmental strategic goals aligned with the overall Operational business plan.

What your day to day will look like:
- Processing and completing picking lists on the Sage 200 system
- Accurately assigning time slots to goods-in hauliers
- Supporting Stores Team Leader and Supervisor with administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with Company procedures
- Assisting in the coordination of daily stores operations to ensure efficiency
- Adhere at all times to company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment within the Stores area and office, reporting any hazards, incidents or near misses promptly in line with company procedures
- Cooperate with management in meeting statutory Health & Safety obligations, ensuring safe working practices are followed when coordinating with warehouse and logistics operations
- Participate in all mandatory training required for the role and ensure skills and knowledge remain up to date
- Support continuous improvement by applying learning and development within daily responsibilities
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an administration role ideally with a stock management system in manufacturing
- Strong IT knowledge and ability to work across applications; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) /Sage 200
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and numerate with meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working with hauliers in a distribution or logistics environment
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Access
