We are seeking a Print Assistant to join our Belfast site. This is a key role within a regulated manufacturing environment, where quality, accuracy, and compliance are essential. The Print Assistant is responsible for supporting the Lithographic Printing team to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of printing presses in line with production requirements. The role contributes to the effective execution of the production plan by maintaining equipment readiness, supporting operational activities, and promoting high standards of health and safety, quality, housekeeping, and teamwork.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Production
    • To ensure all resources are available to the printers as per the production schedule to maximise machine uptime and efficiency.
    • Perform clean and efficient wash up of equipment.
    • Ensuring waste is disposed of in a safe manner in adherence with procedures.
    • To transport work to and from departments as necessary, production ready.
    • Maintain continuous running, minimising any stoppages.
    • To support daily/weekly production targets.
    • To cover for Pile Turning and other duties during absence or where business need dictates.
    • Housekeeping duties and maintaining Health and Safety standards.
    • Any other general duties as required in production.
    • Involvement and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintenance
    • To assist in the machinery maintenance schedule as appropriate in line with established planned maintenance programmes and safe working procedures.
