About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead and optimise our procurement function. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials, components, and services to support our offsite manufacturing operations, particularly in the production of bathroom pods. You will manage the end-to-end procurement process, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned with business goals, identifying cost-saving and value engineering opportunities.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers, ensuring strong relationships, performance, and continuity of supply.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory to support production schedules and avoid delays.
  • Ensure cost control through effective negotiation and market awareness.
  • Maintain quality, compliance, and adherence to UK regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and project teams to support delivery and innovation.
  • Monitor KPIs, maintain accurate records, and utilise ERP/MRP systems for effective procurement management.

Skills & Experience:

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong negotiation skills with high commercial awareness.
  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role.
  • Experience working within manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as Business Central and Microsoft Excel.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in modular or offsite manufacturing environments.
  • Experience sourcing MEP components or building materials.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
