A leading company based in Newry require a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team on an initial 6 month basis. Are you experienced across key areas of finance and comfortable with the month end processes?

The Ideal Person

  • Part-Qualified Accountant / Assistant Accountant / Accounts Technician
  • Third level education, part-qualified accountant or IATI qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Director in reconciliations of GLs (Balance sheet and P&L), Accounts Payable, Purchase order management
  • Deal with finance queries and ad hoc duties
  • Assist with Month end balance sheet reconciliations/report preparations
  • Prepayments, accruals and journal postings
