We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Digital Transformation team and play a key role in managing, improving, and planning for the future of our business systems in line with our ERP strategy. You will manage stakeholder relationships across the business, ensuring that all processes and data requirements are delivered in line with strong corporate governance. Working independently, you will develop a deep understanding of specific work areas and become a trusted point of contact for the systems you support. Longer-term, you will understand and improve MJM Business Systems from both a hands-on operational perspective and a technical stance, supporting users, managing reporting needs, and leading training where required. You will work alongside Business Unit Directors to help them achieve their departmental and overall business goals.
What Youll Be Doing
- Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Understand and document existing processes within the business, constructing workflow diagrams to reflect current and future-state operations.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, use case scenarios, and business process descriptions.
- Understand in detail the fit-gap between current and to be processes, working alongside the ERP team and subject matter experts to deliver the most efficient operational solutions.
- Analyse business and D365 processes to make recommendations that resolve pain points and drive continuous improvement.
- Work with third-party software companies to ensure proposed solutions meet the functional needs of the business.
- Implement change positively, introducing new ideas and approaches to improve business systems and user experience pre and post Go Live.
- ERP Implementation & Project Delivery
- Create, maintain, and contribute to project documentation using Word, Excel, Visio, and other tools as required.
- Assist with the cleansing, design, and population of data migration templates and verification of data after upload.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing and functional testing, preparing test scenarios and scripts, supporting users through UAT, and participating in triage sessions to resolve issues.
- Support the business during Go Live cut-over, addressing issues and providing hands-on advice and support to users.
- Assist in co-ordinating application updates and creating documentation on new features and functionality, ensuring changes are delivered with minimum disruption to the business.
- Training & User Support
- Prepare training materials for end users and assume the role of trainer when required, presenting the functional aspects of solutions in a clear and accessible way.
- Review and provide input to user documentation, ensuring it remains accurate and up to date.
- Provide post Go Live end user support and Business Systems Helpdesk assistance, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Reporting & Data Integrity
- Ensure data integrity across business systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Carry out other duties commensurate with the role as directed by management.

- Essential 2+ years experience in a similar Business Analyst role.
- A comprehensive understanding of Business Systems and ERP platforms.
- Proven ERP implementation experience.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across the business.
- Attention to detail and a structured, methodical way of working.
Desirable
- ERP integration experience.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
