About the company

A market leading business based in the Newry area are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant reporting to the Group Financial Controller. With the business continuing to grow from strength to strength, this represents an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and ambitious finance professional to further develop their experience within a fast-paced environment, with a clear pathway for progression ahead.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
  • Intercompany reconciliations across group entities
  • Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting
  • Analyse profitability and support commercial decision-making
  • Support improvements across finance systems, controls and reporting processes
  • Work closely with operational and commercial teams across the business
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • QBE Considered - 5+ years experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
